Is the escape game tablet- or app-based?
No, "The Missing Plan" is deliberately not tablet- or app-based to ensure a fully interactive experience. The investigative backpack, with its tactile equipment, invites participation and puzzle-solving. This prevents a situation where one person is glued to a screen while others stand bored by.
However, you must bring at least one internet-enabled smartphone (to retrieve an audio sequence and to scan a QR code).
This keeps the experience authentic and communal, with a touch of modern support where it is truly needed.
How many people is the tour suitable for?
Our outdoor escape tour is ideal for teams of 4 to 40 people. We plan for one puzzle backpack per 10 people. If your group is larger than 10, we will provide multiple puzzle backpacks, and you can split up for the tour. You can then start either simultaneously or at slightly staggered times. How much does the outdoor escape tour cost?
You pay between 20 and 25 euros per person for "The Vanished Plan".
What do we need to bring to the team event?
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing for a 2-3 hour stay outdoors and comfortable shoes for an approximately 2.5 km walk.
Bring a drink and maybe a snack.
Each group needs at least one internet-enabled smartphone. Otherwise, you will receive all the necessary equipment in the investigative backpack.
Is the tour playable regardless of the weather?
Yes, regardless of whether it's spring, summer, autumn, or winter, you can play the "The Missing Plan" puzzle tour all year round. Even drizzle, wet ground, or wind won't stop you. However, if it's pouring rain on your booked time slot, you can reschedule or change your booking free of charge.
Is the escape game tablet- or app-based?
The tour isn't specifically designed for children, and it's too difficult for children to complete on their own. We've had good experiences when parents and children go together and solve the puzzles as a team. The routes aren't too long, clues can always be used to help solve the puzzles, and the tactile, interactive elements are particularly effective at promoting team building, problem-solving skills, and communication.
When can we play the Escape Tour?
Our booking system shows all available dates. Since daylight is needed to solve the puzzle, we are dependent on sunrise and sunset, and therefore, start times are available in the early evening during the summer, but not in the winter.
The tour is playable every day.

Unlike other app-based outdoor escape games in Würzburg, our puzzle tour can only be played in Würzburg. It's 100% tailored to the city, its history, and its locations, and cannot be played anywhere else. All puzzles are handmade, unique, and tactile. You don't need to install an app, and we won't provide you with a tablet. The only requirement is an internet-enabled smartphone for listening to an audio sequence.
Is the tour also suitable for dogs?
Of course. Dogs are welcome on all our tours. Team Game is the perfect outdoor activity for you, while your dog also gets plenty of exercise.
