General Terms and Conditions of Team Game GmbH
§1 Basic Provisions
The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all business relationships between Team Game GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Team Game) and its customers (in particular contracts concluded via the website www.team-game.de or by e-mail).
For the purposes of these provisions, a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor their self-employed professional activity. A business is any natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of its independent professional or commercial activity.
§2 Conclusion of Contract
You can book your desired date via our website https://www.team-game.de/book-now, provided it is still available for the desired number of people.
Our offers are non-binding. By booking your desired date, you are submitting a binding offer to conclude a contract. We accept this offer by sending a confirmation email to the email address you provided, after which your booking will be confirmed.
By concluding this contract, you agree that your order data, including these terms and conditions, will be stored by us for the purpose of contract fulfillment.
You can also submit booking requests by phone, which we will then enter into our system for you. As long as they haven't been booked by us via the booking form, they are non-binding. The contract, and therefore the binding booking, only comes into effect upon receipt of a booking confirmation and appointment confirmation. If you don't receive an email confirmation, please contact us again.
§3 Payment Terms
The purchase price is due immediately upon ordering.
Until all payment claims arising from the contractual relationship have been settled in full, Team Game GmbH reserves the right not to approve participation in the event.
The purchase price for bookings via the website is due immediately upon ordering; for all other booking processes, payment is due no later than upon receipt of the binding appointment confirmation via email.

Payment processing for credit card, PayPal, and SOFORT transfers is partially handled by our partners Stripe and Klarna. You will be redirected accordingly.
§4 Performance
Your confirmed order entitles you and your team(s) to participate in the event and to use the agreed services on the booked date and during the booked validity period.
To ensure a smooth experience for all participants, everyone must arrive at Team Game approximately 10 minutes before their booked start time. Team Game always starts on the hour. Arriving late will reduce the duration or scope of your event accordingly, without giving rise to any claims for a refund.
§5 Liability
Team Game GmbH is not liable for any damages that may occur before, during or after the event.
All game and puzzle materials required for the tour will be provided by Team Game to you and your team(s) on loan for the duration of your tour. Team Game does not require a deposit for these materials but reserves the right to hold you, the lead booker, liable for any damage or loss caused by willful misuse, improper use, or carelessness on the part of any participant in your group. This right of recourse includes, in particular, all game and puzzle materials, the game case or puzzle backpack, and any damage caused to the materials themselves or to the Team Game cargo bike during their removal or return. By booking an event slot with Team Game, you explicitly agree to this policy. Damages resulting from intentional acts or gross negligence by participants will also be pursued.
Essential contractual obligations are those whose breach jeopardizes the achievement of the contract's purpose, whose fulfillment is essential for the proper execution of the contract, and on whose compliance the customer regularly relies.
§6 Cancellation Policy / Right of Withdrawal
Contracts for the purchase of tickets for leisure activities with a specific date or period are not subject to the right of withdrawal. This means that otherwise, there is no two-week right of cancellation and return (§ 312g para. 2 no. 9 of the German Civil Code). Rescheduling a booked event slot (for game show events or outdoor escape games) is not possible. Changing the number of participants for a booked slot is only possible in exceptional circumstances and after prior telephone or in-person consultation with the management of Team Game GmbH.
Cancellation or withdrawal is not possible even if new rules and regulations regarding access requirements in the leisure industry come into effect in the future through a general decree. The risk of meeting the personal access requirements lies solely within the customer's personal sphere of risk.
Bad weather guarantee:
Since Team Game takes place exclusively outdoors, and the weather is beyond our control, we offer you a free rebooking option or a voucher if the weather makes the tour impossible (e.g., continuous rain, storm, heavy snowfall). Please contact us in writing via email or by phone at least one hour before your scheduled game start time.
You have a statutory right of withdrawal for voucher contracts. This means you have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days of purchasing a voucher without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the date of conclusion of the contract. We do not refund the monetary value of a voucher if the voucher's validity/redemption period has expired.

You must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal: If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional costs incurred if you chose a delivery method other than our cheapest standard delivery option), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received your notification of withdrawal. For this reimbursement, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; in no case will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.
§7 Miscellaneous
1. Team Game reserves the right to refuse entry to participants or exclude them from the event if the person(s) in question disrupt general business operations, harass other participants or Team Game staff, or if there is reasonable cause to believe that this could occur, due to alcohol or drug use or for any other reason. In such cases, no refund of the entry fee or voucher value will be issued.
2. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
3. The place of performance and exclusive jurisdiction is (to the extent legally permissible) Bamberg.
