Is the escape game tablet- or app-based?
No, "The Merchant's Seal" is deliberately not tablet- or app-based to ensure a fully interactive experience. The investigative backpack, with its tactile equipment, invites participation and puzzle-solving. This prevents a situation where one person is glued to a screen while others stand bored.
However, at least one internet-enabled smartphone (to retrieve an audio sequence) must be brought along.
This keeps the experience authentic and communal, with a touch of modern support where it is truly needed.
How many people is the tour suitable for?
Our outdoor escape tour is ideal for groups of up to 10 people. If your group is larger, you can still participate; we'll provide you with several puzzle backpacks, subject to availability, and you can split up for the tour. You can then start either all at once or slightly staggered. Please contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or contact form to arrange this.
How much does the outdoor escape tour cost?
"The Merchant's Seal" costs 20-25 euros per participant.
What do I need to bring?
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing for a 2-3 hour stay outdoors and comfortable shoes for an approximately 2 km walk.
Bring a drink and maybe a snack.
Each group needs at least one internet-enabled smartphone with mobile data access. Otherwise, you will receive all the necessary equipment in the investigative backpack.
Is the tour playable regardless of the weather?
Yes, regardless of whether it's spring, summer, autumn, or winter, you can play the "Merchant's Seal" puzzle tour all year round. Even drizzle, wet ground, or wind won't bother you. However, should it rain heavily and continuously on your booked time slot, you can reschedule or change your booking free of charge.
How does the booking and payment process work?
All our available slots for the tour can be found online under "Book now". We can accommodate large teams simultaneously or in a relay start.
Payment is also possible directly online - even by specifying a separate billing address.
When can we play the Escape Tour?
Our booking system shows all available dates. Since daylight is needed to solve the puzzle, we are dependent on sunrise and sunset, and therefore, start times are available in the early evening during the summer, but not in the winter.
The tour is playable every day.
